Public record · custom matrix packs

A view over the record, built for your asset

The public record is free to browse. When you need it shaped to a specific asset, class, or decision, I build a filtered Field Matrix and a short cited read on top of it — public data only, every cell traceable to its Public Summary Document.

Every PBAC decision is extracted and structured before any model runs — a table you can audit, every cell traceable to its source on pbs.gov.au. Public data only. Humans still own the judgment.

Evaluation context pack

One asset, the precedent context an assessor or team assembles first: the closest decisions, comparators, prior attempts, and the committee's own words on cost. Descriptive record only — never a prediction.

Orientation pack

A therapy-area matrix plus a two-page narrative for getting up to speed in a new class or a new seat — what the system has actually decided, and where the bar has sat.

Precedent landscape

A scoped brief around your molecule or comparator set: the closest decisions, cost-effectiveness patterns, risk-sharing that travelled with a yes, and what the record supports — plainly marked from what it cannot.

scoped brief

Each pack is a Field Matrix view plus a cited narrative. Scoped per request — nothing to license, no seats. Every claim carries its source; the record is described, never predicted. Pick whichever is closest below; the scope gets settled in a reply, not a checkout.

A real one, redacted

What arrives

One page, sent to a rare-cancer patient organisation who asked how often the committee had heard from them. Figures as delivered; the organisation is not named here because they have not agreed to be.

The question
How often does the published record name us, on which medicines, with what outcome — and what share of our submissions get a mention?
What the record held
124 published decisions naming the organisation in their consumer-comments section, across 76 medicines, 2014–2026. On 29 of them they are the only group named.
The cut
Outcome broken out by year and by meeting, so the mix is visible rather than just the volume.
The read
One page. Every figure traceable to the Public Summary Document it came from.
Turnaround
Same day for the counted read; a checked expansion follows if the scope needs one.
What it does not claim
The second question could not be answered, and the page said so. The record gives the numerator, not the denominator — it counts the times a published summary names the organisation. It cannot see a submission that was filed and not named, or input the committee summarised without attributing. So no hit rate was reported. It also flagged that no document in 2018 or 2019 names them, and that this is more likely a naming form my parser misses than a quiet period — a defect in my own work, raised before the client could find it.
How this usually goes
  1. The recordFree, no account. Every decision, the matrix, the map.
  2. RegisteredFree, one email. Full matrix, export, grounded answers, the Reading Room.
  3. A packFixed scope, agreed in a reply. One asset, a class, or a precedent set.
  4. An hour, or a seriesThe record read against your problem. Scoped work, or a retainer if it keeps going.

No seats, no credits, no subscription. The public record does not move behind a wall as the ladder goes up — the paid rungs are work, not access.

Toolkit

The derived layer

Behind the packs sits the derived intelligence layer — revealed willingness-to-pay, base rates, resubmission paths, feasibility. It powers the deeper deliverables and is issued by request. The public record stays free; this is the parameterised layer on top.

Where the record actually lands

Aggregated at build time from PBAC PSDs (ICER status v4). Distributions and verbatim commentary from the documents. Redacted and cost-minimisation cells shown explicitly.
