THE AUSTRALIAN PBAC RECORD - ON THIS DRIVE
==========================================

3,035 submissions to the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee, across
1,048 medicines, 2005 to 2026. Extracted from the Public Summary
Documents published by the Australian Government at pbs.gov.au.

Snapshot: 28 August 2026. Current record: https://script.report

THREE STEPS
-----------

  1. COPY THIS FOLDER to your desktop. (Or work straight off the drive -
either is fine. Nothing installs, nothing runs, nothing phones home.)

  2. OPEN "1 - PASTE THIS FIRST.txt". Copy everything below the line and
paste it as the FIRST message to your AI - Copilot, Claude, whichever
you already use. Then attach these two files from the folder:

           record/pbac-decisions.csv
           FACTS.md

  3. ASK YOUR QUESTION.

That's it. When you're done, close it and pull the drive out.

Pasting step 2 is the part that matters. Without it a model will confuse a
submission with a medicine, treat a recommendation as a PBS listing, and do
arithmetic over a file it has only partly read. Each of those produces a
confident wrong answer, and confident wrong is the failure mode you cannot
  see happening.

NO AI? OPEN "START HERE.html"
-----------------------------

Double-click it. It opens in whatever browser you already have and works with
  the wifi off. Search a medicine, brand, indication, sponsor or therapy area;
click any submission for the comparator, the economics, what the PBAC
objected to, and the source document.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE QUOTING ANYTHING
--------------------------------------------

One row is one SUBMISSION, not one medicine. 1,048 medicines produced
3,035 submissions. Counting rows gives you submissions.

A recommendation is NOT a listing. "Recommended" means the committee said
yes. Listing follows price negotiation, and sometimes never happens. This
record cannot tell you what is on the PBS today.

Check how the outcome was read. 1,554 submissions were read directly
from the document's outcome section, 1,237 were model-read and
corroborated, and 244 are weakly grounded. Verify a weak one before
  saying it out loud.

A NOTE ON ERRORS
----------------

This is an extraction of three thousand PDFs and it contains mistakes. The
confidence markers exist so the risk is visible rather than hidden. If you find
an error, telling me is genuinely useful - it goes into the next build.
